German big business – How networked are the DAX 30 companies?

The managers of the largest listed companies in Germany often also sit on the supervisory boards of other companies in addition to the positions they hold on their own management boards. At the same time, there are supervisory board members who belong to the control committees of several companies. This results in a multi-layered network of relationships and connections between companies.
